'FREEDOM THROUGH KNOWLEDGE' Young adults want freedom and parents want to ensure their child is safe where ever he/she is. Imparting the right knowledge is key both for parents as well as the children in dealing making this transition and continues to maintain a healthy relationship. Join us for a presentation on what to expect in college and let us ease your worries!
This discourse, in my mind is an orientation to parents as much as it is to the students. Transitioning to college can be a stressful time for freshman and it is essential that students take precautions to maintain their health. College means more responsibility, more freedom, and more choices for your child than he or she may have ever had before. You may also want to look at 'Avidya (ignorance) to Vidya (True Knowledge)'. Avidya (that takes us away from our true Self) and Vidya (that draws us closer to our True Self).
